GURU SPARSH: A Trainer’s Journey from Teaching to Transforming Lives

Guru Sparsh: A Trainer’s Journey from Teaching to Transforming Lives is a practical handbook by Amruta Avinash Belavade, a Mind Coach, Parenting Educator and Child Development Trainer. The book is written for teachers, trainers, educators, mentors and parents who want to understand children more deeply and create meaningful learning experiences. The book explores child psychology, child-centred education, emotional safety, positive communication, behaviour management, teacher-child relationships, confidence building, empathy, encouragement and life skills. Across six chapters, readers learn how to understand the child’s mind, look beyond challenging behaviour, build connection and trust, choose words that encourage confidence, and become a child-centred Guru. The practical exercises and reflection activities make the book particularly useful for educators who want to apply the ideas directly in classrooms and training environments. The book includes activities such as “My Child’s Story,” “The Balloon Mind,” “The Iceberg of Behaviour,” “The Circle of Appreciation” and “The Power Words Jar.” The final section provides age-wise teaching strategies for children aged 6–8, 9–12 and 13–15, helping educators adapt their approach to different developmental stages.Guru Sparsh is for anyone who believes that education is not only about teaching subjects, but about building confidence, nurturing character, protecting dignity and helping children discover their potential. A Guru teaches lessons. A great Guru awakens possibilities.
