This book examines the impact of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) on corporate performance in India, using a five-year pre-merger and ten-year post-merger analysis window. The study is based on key financial ratios as determinants, along with a comparison of compound annual growth rates (CAGR) for the selected sample companies.

The findings present mixed results regarding the significance of these ratios on firm performance. Post-merger effects vary across different financial parameters and industries. Growth patterns reflect both positive and negative outcomes, even within the same company across specific indicators such as liquidity.
